FOR MORE THAN THIRTY YEARS, GOHAGAN & COMPANY HAS BEEN CREATING INNOVATIVE TRAVEL PROGRAMS FOR DISCERNING TRAVELERS — LIKE YOU.

An Institution in Cultural Travel
Gohagan & Company is the leading preferred provider of international and domestic travel programs to North America’s most prestigious non-profit organizations: museums, college and university alumni associations and cultural institutions. Highly discerning members have come to rely on Gohagan & Company for singular travel programs of the very highest standards to confidently travel the world, in style and comfort.

Since 1984, Gohagan & Company has developed and operated imaginative travel programs that are simply unavailable anywhere else. Gohagan & Company’s programs are designed to appeal to a wide range of participants—from those seeking an ultra-deluxe river cruise or sea voyage to those who yearn for the simplicity of a tranquil week in one of Europe’s many historic villages. We offer up to 60 individual itineraries each year spanning the world’s seven continents.

These itineraries encompass river cruises and continental journeys along the world’s most storied rivers to the world’s great cultural capitals; exclusive sea voyages and ocean cruises to ancient and historic ports; our popular series of attractively priced Village Life programs that also includes island- and river-themed itineraries; and journeys of discovery that reveal the boundless marvels of the natural world. Some programs are exquisite in their luxury and others are delightful in their simplicity, but all have been carefully designed to create travel experiences of a lifetime.

We expand our repertoire annually by crafting several new travel programs with the same attention to creating just the right itinerary, featuring—whenever possible and appropriate—cultural enhancements, educational enrichment, local celebrations, historical observances and exclusive experiences that characterize all of our hallmark travel programs.

Gohagan & Company’s innovative itineraries are the result of careful consideration of all components of the travel program. Ships, hotels and trains are meticulously selected by our program planning staff not only for their overall quality, but also for their ability to create an ambiance specific to the character of the program whether the setting is one of five-star refinement and luxury or that of a charming hotel in the countryside.

Gohagan & Company specializes in offering small-ship cruises. Smaller ships can access ports not accessible to larger cruise vessels and provide a more intimate yacht-like cruise experience as well as more personalized service.

We give great attention to incorporating exclusive enhancements in our travel programs that create truly singular experiences. Depending on the program, we arrange early museum openings, so as to admire artistic treasures without the crowds; we organize talks with museum curators, to provide context and insight; for a literal taste of our destination, we may organize a demonstration of regional cuisine. Village Life programs feature a unique Village Forum during which local residents engage participants in a discussion of the vital issues of the village and region. Our goal is to provide travelers with a unique travel experience.

RIVER CRUISES AND CONTINENTAL JOURNEYS
From America’s Deep South and Mississippi River delta to China’s fabled Yangtze Gorges, Gohagan & Company interprets the world’s great rivers as living texts of culture, history and myth. Our river cruises and continental journeys take in a range of wonders: the Impressionists’ light of France’s Seine, the operatic legends of Germany’s Rhine, the Habsburg monuments of central Europe’s Danube, and the rustic villages along Russia’s Volga. We weave a fascinating tapestry of cultural enlightenment while gliding past millennia of history along beautiful riverbanks.

HISTORIC SEA VOYAGES AND OCEAN CRUISES
Gohagan & Company’s historic sea voyages and ocean cruises span the globe: from following in the wake of Columbus through the Canary Islands to exploring wonders of the ancients in the Greek isles of the Aegean, to experiencing the exquisite beauty of the French and Italian rivieras and cruising the classical ports of the Mediterranean and revelling in the burgeoning spirit of the rejuvenated Baltic states.

VILLAGE LIFE, LIFE ALONG THE RIVER AND ISLAND LIFE
Gohagan & Company’s exclusive Village Life series allows you to experience a unique way of life and the local traditions of provincial villages abroad. Our ever-increasing roster of itineraries currently includes programs in Sarlat-la-Caneda, the heart of France’s Perigord Noir; Cheltenham, the Regency “capital of England's Cotswolds”; Llandudno, a charming seaside village in North Wales; the remarkable Roman villages on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast; and Italy’s Umbrian hill towns including Assisi, the pilgrimage site blessed by St. Francis. Life Along the River programs include an exploration of the fascinating towns that line Holland and Belgium’s waterways and the delights of the Seine that lie between Paris and Normandy. Island Life programs encompass the ruggedly beautiful isles of Scotland and the history-laden volcanic islands of Greece.

NATURAL WONDER AND HISTORY
At the southernmost edge of the world, stand in the footsteps of intrepid explorers and admire sublime Antarctic icescapes or cruise down the mysterious tributaries of Peru’s Upper Amazon and encounter exotic species of bird, animal and plant life unlike anything you have ever seen. Gohagan & Company programs take you to places like the glaciated wonderland of Alaska and the big game-laden savannas of Africa, places where the wonders of nature surround you and enchant you with their unique rhythms.
